In May of 2004 we traveled with Rick Steves' "Europe Through the Back Door". Our tour was called the "The Best of Eastern Europe in 18 days" It was an experience we will never forget. Between the two of us, we captured over 5,000 digital photos. Our favorite photos are shared here for your enjoyment. We started the Eastern Europe Tour in the late afternoon of May 6th. May 7th morning was devoted to Castle Hill, in the evening we relived the Velvet Revolution, May 8th we were free to explore on our own.
